Aly was loving the summer rain storm the other day! She just stood on the porch and watched in awe as the rain fell down! My favorite thing about being a mother is experiencing the awe and wonder of the world all over again through their eyes! I have always loved the rain but this storm was better than most because I watched it with my Aly! She was shivering and soaked when I finally brought her in to change and get warm. Then the two of us cuddled up in the big recliner, painted our toes, nibbled on graham crackers, and watched "Penguins" (aka: Happy Feet, Aly's favorite movie!). It was the perfect day!
(Aren't our toes pretty! Al is obsessed with anything 'girl' and that includes pretty toes and fingers! Not to mention an extreme obsession with shoes! Poor Russ really tried to turn her into a tomboy but so far it looks like we are girly-girl all the way!)

I love your pictures that you have all over your blog. It makes it so fun to read and see. My little Amber is such a girly girl too and I had nothing to do with it. They just come as they are. She is such a cutie.
