Nose?

Around 6:00 I noticed Aly was wiping her nose and sneezing, then she stated complaining about her nose. I assumed she was getting the sniffles, not wanting to medicate I just cuddled her and told her it would be okay! Every few minutes she would look at me expectantly and say "nose, mommy, nose!"

Well an hour (or maybe two) later Russ is holding Al and reading a bedtime story while I am feeding Thatcher and he says to me, "Mindy get me the tweezers!" What? Yes that is right my child has shoved something up her nose! This is a first for us I truthfully did not even consider the possibility when the nose complaints began!

So a few minutes later mommy is holding her down and daddy is coming at her with these scary bad boys!

Yes there was screaming and a lot of fear but in the end the pencil eraser that she so carefully stashed in her left nostril was expertly removed by Russ. We finished her bedtime story and she is now sleeping peacefully, although I am ready for the nightmares about scary metal objects to begin any moment! Oh the toddler years, full of excitement aren't they!?!
