I took the kids to the grocery store today and while at the checkout I heard the lady in front of me ask the checker what the date was. Living in my 'summer world' I hadn't thought about the date (every day is Saturday to me, well with a couple Sunday's thrown in here and there but overall it is an endless weekend!) so when the checker responded with "July 30th" I gasped in shock! Both ladies turned and looked at me as I smiled back (as if I hadn't just made a surprised gasp at today's date). However, this realization created immediate shock and surprise within me because it meant that my little man is already one month old! I could hardly believe that one month ago today Thatcher joined our little family! Time, as always, has gone too quickly and I can now measure my baby's age in months instead of days and weeks! What an amazing month it has been!
