It is the simple pleasures in life that make it memorable! My adorable and sweet husband called me on his way home from work last night and simply said, "Pump a bottle." What? When he arrived at home he took our sweet baby (who is quite the night owl), the bottle of pumped milk, and sent poor worn out exhausted me straight to bed. I, of course, attempted to rinse some dishes and change a load of laundry on my way there but he removed the dishes from my hands and lead me in the direction of our bedroom. Exhausted I crashed onto the bed unable to protest! I did not see either of my boys until 6 am! That is right! I got an ENTIRE night of sleep! Russ not only took care of our little man all night; he kept him in the other room so that I could enjoy uninterrupted sleep! I cannot describe to you what a difference it has made! I accomplished so much today! It is amazing what a little sleep can do to one's outlook on life! Then, to top it all off I enjoyed one of life's greatest indulgences this evening! A relaxing bubble bath! There is little better in this world than a hot, bubbly, relaxing bath (especially with my favorite Bath & Body Works bubbles - thanks Kristen!). Let's be honest I have barely been able to sneak in a quick shower these days so a bath was HEAVEN! So here's to life's simple pleasures! Enjoy!
