Julia gave me the most incredible baby shower yesterday! I must say I feel beyond spoiled! It was at the new town square park in St. George and I had so many family members (special thanks to mom and grandma 'g' for traveling so far!) and friends come to show their support! Julia had decorations, great food, games, prizes, fabulous dessert (ice cream cups from DQ-yummy!), etc! I also was spoiled with some much needed new items for our bouncy baby boy! (including an amazing new double stroller -- Thank you Julia, Lisa, Peg, & Amy!!) We now have plenty of outfits, bath items, bottles, mimi's (or pacifiers to those of you who use the "normal" term), socks, blankets, etc. Then to top it all off today Harold and Julia come by with a 'toy' bin (or at least that is what we will be using it for) that Harold was getting rid of and my neighbor brought by a toddler bed and mattress that she was clearing out (let's just say the twin bed was overwhelming my poor toddler and she wouldn't sleep in it! and since she climbed OUT of her crib tonight, landing with a loud heart stopping thud on the ground, it couldn't have come at a better time! She is now sound asleep in her SAFE new bed and I am not freaking out that she is going to swan dive off of her crib rails! Thank YOU! We are finally ready, he can come! (let';s just hope he doesn't until I take my Reading Recovery class the last week of June!)

(Just please ignore the baseboards that I still intend to paint, someday! and the trim around the door, I painted the exterior trim when they put it in, I just never got around to the inside, for some reason I can always find better, more important tasks then painting my trim and then I see it in a picture and it reminds me that I need to someday finish them! Maybe after I tackle the office!)

Congrats on your baby boy comin up so soon. We love havin a boy! It looks like you really got some nice things from your shower. Let us know if you still need anything.
Mindy, You are very lucky if you got a second child baby shower. Yea for you. It looks like you got some fun things. So you haven't read the 4th book of Twilight I take it. I guess there is a #4 out there. So far in #2, it is slower than #1 I am noticing. I find myself skipping through parts because it seems slow.
Hey Mindy, I just found your blog through Kristen's. Congrats on the new baby. You're in for a HUGE new adventure and I wish you the best.

NICE! It looks like you got some pretty sweet stuff. YOu know, it's funny that you brought up Aly and her falling out of her crib. That scares me to death. I'm glad you got it taken care of. You're counting down the days now! Good luck and we're praying for ya!
Hey! We're trying to do the toddler bed thing right now too. Also isn't going very well. He loves his bed! He just always falls out of it- even with the side bumper. Last night he got a really bad bloody nose and we were up for an hour and a half with that one. Not fun.
Anyway- about the scrapbooking. After you download the stuff that you want from the website, you have to unzip the file. After you do that- if you open up the folder after you have elements opened, you can just drag the file from the opened folder in to the elements program. Make sense? So- It's really easy. Also- If you use the shortcuts (like Ctrl A for selecting the canvas, and Ctrl C for copy) then you can paste (Ctrl V) your element onto your project. The shortcuts make it go a lot faster. So I don't really know if that made sense- but it's a lot of fun! Let me see some pages once you get going! :)
