Alyse is book obsessed (it could be because with Mommy being a teacher there is an ABUNDANCE of books in our house, with them being so readily available what's a girl to do but dig in right!). Anyway, she usually asks me to read to her, but when I walked into her room the other day this is what I saw . . .
. . . such a BIG girl sitting in the chair and reading to herself! I had to go grab the camera to take some video and pictures, however my intrusion disturbed the true 'cuteness' of the moment which was her jibber-jabbering to herself all about the story! (she even did the voices of the pigs and huffed and puffed the house down!) I love this age! She is growing and changing everyday, if it weren't for those toddler tantrums, I guess you can't have everything!
BTW- I caught her 'reading' to Noki last night which was beyond adorable! Too bad my camera batteries were in the charger because that was priceless! Overall he was a pretty good audience but when he had had his fill he got up and tried to walk away . . . Aly followed him with the book and kept on jabbering! So cute!
