Thankful Thursday

I have wanted to do a 'Thankful Thursday' post for awhile but haven't made an entry on a Thursday (or just didn't realize that it was Thursday--somewhat forgetful these days what can I say!) Anyway since it is Thursday and I am posting here goes:

1. My BIG helper: Alyse! She is so willing to help mommy pick things up off the floors (a task that is getting more difficult by the day), wash dishes, load laundry, etc. etc. It may not be the most quality of work and takes about triple the time it would take to do it unassisted, but for a 21 month old she does really well and I am going to depend on her big helper attitude more and more in the coming weeks when baby brother arrives!
2. Summer Vacation! As a working mom summer is the highlight of the year! Because I don't get to spend all my days at home with my sweet Aly I cherish the ones when I do! I also have come to realize that it is incredibly hard work and to those of you who are home day in and day out kudos to you! It is exhausting but incredibly rewarding!
3. Friday! Russ has the day off tomorrow (well most of it- he has to go in for an hour or two to conference with one of the desk clerks-but other than that he is OURS for the entire day!) I can hardly wait I miss him so much during the summers while I am home all day! It makes me realize just how hard he works for us and I love him all the more for it!
4. B-A-B-Y We went to the doctor today and were so elated to find out that our little man is no longer BREECH! We have been praying and hoping that he would turn on his own! I go back next Friday (if I haven't had him before then) and we will talk induction (instead of C-section) . . . the countdown is on and I am so excited to meet the newest member of our family!
