Whew!

So I was sure I would be holding a baby by now but our little guy is apparently much more content in his current position than his mommy is! I must admit that I am grateful he has waited until my Reading Recovery class was over with (it finished today!), because it was much more intense than I EVER imagined and I struggled keeping up with my homework and the massive amounts of information without a newborn to care for and with my mother here to care for Aly, clean my kitchen, help with laundry, and so many other tasks that I never would have gotten around to this week! (she has been my salvation!) I felt like I was back in college again late nights doing homework, putting together my Assessment Files, READING, READING, and more READING! It was so informative and I am excited for the career change next year but I am FREAKING out that I will retain all of this information over the next month and be able to accomplish the tasks and assessments in the way they are to be given. WHEW!

Anyway back to the baby! Not yet! I go to the doctor tomorrow and we should be scheduling my induction. Truthfully that freaks me out a little since I went into labor on my own with Aly I don't really know what to expect? Hopefully Russ will be able to go with me to the doctor in the morning--He just got called into work; the grave clerk took off to go get her sister in Reno and isn't going to make it in to work - there was no one to cover the desk? Seriously! Who pulls this crap! These are the times when being the manager is just not worth it! I love the Abbey and they are so good to us, but I hate having Russ get phone calls at all odd hours because so and so is sick, or out of town, or running late, and they just won't make it in! But because you need to run to Reno to stop your sister's wedding!?! (that takes the cake) She is already there honey! I hate to break it to you but you are not going to make it! By the time you get there she is going to be hitched and probably out of that dirty little town-or at least hard to find. (sorry about the vent) So I guess I better not go into labor tonight because who would cover the desk for Russ? At least I know there is an end in sight, by next week sometime I should no longer be pregnant and for my swollen feet, aching back, and tired body that sounds marvelous! It's just a matter of when!

If for some reason you do have to be induced I could tell you my experience and what to expect. It actually went really smooth for me, actually easier than with Amber. Good luck to you and if I can help let me know.
