Alyse had her very first soccer game today! I loved watching three and four year olds running up and down the field. Half the time there were either too many or not enough players and most of them had no idea, or just did not care, which direction they kicked the ball or to whom! Alyse spent much of the game playing on the bleachers and in the goal net. She did have a nice moment practicing some leg kicks and dance moves at the wrong end of the field and enjoyed taking a short nap. I loved every minute! (Does this officially make me a soccer mom? I drive a mini van and everything) Thatcher was adorable kicking the ball off the field and honestly would have loved to go out there and play... he will hopefully show a little more talent for the sport, but surely not as much flair. Maggie stayed homew ith Daddy so that I could take my sweetie to her first big game and I am so glad I didn't miss it! (Even if I only had a baby 4 days ago... no keeping me down!)
***BTW Yes she is wearing Thatcher's shorts, yes they are a bit small (12 month size), no she did not care. Hey she didn't have any without pockets and his matched... what's a mom to do? Remember I did just have a baby 4 days ago... a little slack okay!

holy cow, you don't waste a minute...look at you super mom!! So cute, I love watching the little kids play or try to play soccer.
