{happy anniversary}

Russ and I have been married 7 years! Wow time flies! They have been the BEST 7 years of my life! We went out last weekend to celebrate since Russ had to work this weekend and Sundays are always BUSY BUSY BUSY! So when yesterday arrived (our actual anniversary) Russ got up and headed off to work I got started making breakfast for the kids and putting them in the bath when it hit me... it's our anniversary! I immediately called Russ and we both laughed that we hadn't even thought about it in all of our Sunday madness. I guess that is part of the joy of being married for a while you can laugh at such a situation and feel secure in the fact that you love each other more than ever! When Russ did get home we headed to church and then home for naps for the kids. Some of the young men came by to hang out with Russ and I went and took a nap myself. After naps we headed to choir and when we got home it was almost 6:00. I had thrown in a roast for dinner and in an attempt to redeem myself I made some chocolate covered strawberries and we sat down as a family and had dinner and then played until the kids went to bed. Russ and I ended the day watching the Academy Awards and then re-arranged the furniture in our bedroom (I know VERY romantic) but I have been wanting a change for a while now and it was nice to have things moved around a bit and being massively preggo it was definately something I need Russ to do for me!
I drifted off to sleep thinking about how much I love my husband and our growing family! Happy Anniversary Babe! I love you!
