Happy Birthday Russ! It sort of snuck up on me this yearI must admit... I have been in 'baby mode' and before I even realized it the 22nd was here! Luckily I had my best helpers to get a few things pulled together Miss Alyse helped me make a sign and some party hats and Peg ordered yummy food from Troy's. Aly and I made scones and orange rolls for brunch before Russ left for work but did I make a cake? no. Russ had no cake... not that he seemed too sad about it but still it seemed almost incomplete without cake... oh well! I did my best pulling of a birthday on only 3 hours of sleep and Russ was beyond understanding that his birthday was a bit of an oversight this year and spent the morning cuddling his kids and enjoying yummy rolls. He also got to share in this bit of excitement....
Hooray! Miss Maggie's umbilical cord fell out the morning of Daddy's birthday and she was able to have her first 'real' bath! No more cold sponge baths for her this girl is officially able to soak it up in her own little baby tub! It's the first of many little milestones! March has been a busy month our 7 year anniversary, Maggie's birth, Russ' birthday... whew! I need a nap! And since two of my three children are currently sleeping I think that is exactly what I am going to do... "Aly do you want to watch a movie?"
