Took these 2 cuties to the doc today! Thatch had his 21 month growth check (yes my little man is 21 months old TODAY!) and Maggie Jane had her 2 week check-up. Russ thankfully accompanied me to this appointment so that we could each take a child and Alyse went to visit Grandma Peg (I have officially learned my lesson and now know I can only handle one child at a time at the doctor's office). Upon arrival all was well and I thought to myself that I could have handled this on my own... oh but as soon as we left the comfort of the waiting room and Thatch took a quick look around, he remembered... and he CRIED, WAILED, FLAILED, and SCREAMED! Thanks Russ for taking on that situation while I snuggled our peaceful newborn who has yet to fear the doctor's office. I am so pleased to say that my Thatcher has made great gains from the 7th percentile to the 25th percentile in height! He is HUGE! He also weighs a whopping 21 pounds and passed all other checks and tests with flying colors!
Maggie Jane is HUGE as well weighing in at 9 pounds 8.5 ounces (90th %tile) and 21 inches long (75th %tile)! Sadly she had a bit of an ear infection and a red raw throat, welcome to our home Maggie, and is on antibiotics to help her get better. She is the best 'sick' baby ever however and is so content most of the time! Otherwise she was healthy and happy and since we are cathching her infection early hopefully she will be better soon! I'll let you know in 2 weeks when she goes back to see our dear pedi Dr. Nilsson... he takes such good care of my kids!
