Waiting outside of TGI Fridays
(Russ is with us he was just the one taking pictures so you will notice an absence of him in the photos!)
(apparently we struggle looking at the camera)
(Mike and Lacie almost married a year now and still all cuddly!)
(ahh! Grandpa and his first grandson! don't they look alike?)
At the Zoo:
These pictures are of the Birthday Balloons, that FYI "scare animals" and were not allowed inside, so we had to snap a few pics before we left them in the front office.
(my two little cuties, Thatch was still content at this point chillin' in his carseat!)
(The balloons were such a HIT too bad they had to go!)
(I must say I LOVE my double stroller, it is so convenient and so versitle, it has a seat that I took off (which makes it like a traditional double with two forward facing seats) but this way she has just a little bench to sit on and she can hop on and off easliy, there is also a platform she can stand on with handle bars to hold onto PLUS it holds Thatcher's car seat making it a 'travel system'. Thanks to all of you who purchased it for us as a baby gift!)
(Waiting for the Bird Show to begin!)
Riding the Carousel
(L-R Alyse, my hand waving, Brianna, Amy, Jake -- Tanner was in front of us on a tiger)
(Spotting Dad on the sidelines while we went around, do you think she was having fun?)
Attempting a drinking fountain picture
(let's just say she was NOT about to put her head in the lion's mouth!)
Almost all of the cousins (plus Dave and I) Thatcher is in the brown sling that I am wearing and Ethan was snoozin' in his stroller! It is so fun to have all these little cousins for my kids to play with! While we were at Dave and Amy's that night watching the football game Alyse just ran and played with her cousins, Amy and I cuddled our babies and chatted while the BIG boys watched the game it was so GREAT!
Mindy, Alyse, and Grandpa (ha ha don't you love our matching orange? totally unplanned great minds think alike ehh?)
"Happy Birthday" Cupcakes
Aly eating her 'yellow' cupcake, she licked off all the frosting and then held it up all bare and said "More yellow. More Yellow, please!" Too cute! Even though it was her birthday I said "no" to a lunch of nothing but frosting!
Riding the Train! Definately a highlight!
My Birthday Present!
To top it all off my parents took me shopping for my birthday while we were northward and bought me a great pair of running shoes! I am desperately trying to lose all this weight I have gained the past few years and have been getting up at 5:45 every morning to hit the pavement with Kristen, I was beyond in need of new shoes and these puppies are GREAT! Thanks mom and dad for the early present I LOVE them!
