2-riffic!

Happy Birthday Aly! It is so strange to think that 2 years ago on September 11th I had Al! She is such a sweetie and I can't imagine life without her spunk! Today at school everyone was talking about September 11th, 7 years ago, and where they were, etc. etc. Although that day is a memory I will never forget it is shadowed by the JOY of welcoming our first baby into our family! This day holds so much happiness for us now and I am so grateful that our little cutie can bring joy and hope on such a day! Alyse is thrilled with the fact that it is HER birthday! I have been singing to her since I got home and asking her how old she is! She replies TWO while she hold up 5 fingers! (hasn't quite figured out how to hold down the other 3, she can do 'one' no problem but 'two' is proving to be tricky) Her favorite part of the song is when we sing "happy birthday dear ALY" and she joins in in her loudest singing voice! Daddy and I love you so much sweetie and hope your birthday is the BEST! We are so excited to go to the Zoo with you on Saturday and celebrate!

Ahh, the days when straight was an option! I remember brushing her hair straight because otherwise it was just messy frizz, that was before I learned to lotion trick! (FYI to all of you out there who have little one's with curls, baby lotion is WAY better than gel, holds their curls without sticky, stiffness, lifesaver!)

SO big, or so I thought. THe FIRST birthday party, was it really a year ago?
