Sunday Singing

Alyse was so adorable in sacrament meeting today she wanted to sit like a 'BIG' girl on the bench for the closing song. Russ and I each had a hymn book and were getting ready to sing, Al grabbed the program opened it up like a book and 'sang' in her loudest voice with the congregation. It was so cute! She would stop when we stopped and then start right up again as soon as we began singing! I had to bite my cheeks to keep from laughing because she was so VERY serious. After the song we were getting ready for the prayer and she lost her balance and slid off the bench I went to put her on my lap and she got quite upset, I set her back on the bench and she sat there (right on the edge with her feet dangling down) and folded her arms for the prayer, still as she could sit, as soon as Sister Thornton said, "in the name of . . " Alyse blurted out in a not so quiet voice "AMEN!" I love this age! It is so fun watching her grow and become such a big girl! I was lucky enough to sub in her nursery class today and I loved spending time with her and watching her play with the other kids. Good Job today Aly I am very proud of you and I know you are going to be a great example to your little brother!
