Little T went in for his 18 month check up on Dec. 30th. Our pediatrician has been a bit concerned since his growth has been minimal (in fact between his 9 month and 12 month check ups he did not grow at all, they were even a bit worried he had shrunk, they measured him 4 times!) He has been >5th% (in height and weight) for a long time now! He had to make some gains by 18 months or we were going in for a whole range of tests and lab work... so I have been praying for my little man to GROW! I am pleased to announce that he has... only a little but he is now in the 7th percentile for height (30 inches) and still >5th for weight (weighing in at a whopping 19 pounds). So instead of all that lab work we only had to do a urine test to check kidney function etc. (the results came back a picture of health) and all other tests have been postponed to see how his growth is at 21 months! Hopefully in March I will be announcing that my little man has had a major growth spurt and is not such a little man anymore!
