{merry christmas}

It has been a wonderful and magical Christmas. My favorite memory was on Christmas Eve when Russ surprised me and came home from work EARLY just in time to tell the Christmas story to the kids, using the nativity blocks, and watch them open their jammies! (I had been just a bit sad thinking I was going to go it alone with the kiddos for our Christmas Eve traditions and it was my best present this year to have him walk through that door!) Aly was really into the Christmas story this year and Russ was so cute telling the story and keeping them captivated. The next morning Aly was up a little before 7:00 but Thatcher was still sleeping... we told her she had to wait until Thatch woke up to go and see the presents that Santa left... she notified me he would be up soon and ran down the hall by his door screaming... her prediction came true!
We started our Chirstmas morning with a big glass of OJ and then on to the gifts! It was a perfect Christmas! Thanks to all our friends and family who have brought by yummy treats marvelous gifts and sent sweet cards! It helped to make our holiday celebration all the more merry! Here is hoping yours was just as wonderful!
