Here's the Gang ready to trick or treat! We went with our friends the Terry's and their 6 girls (whom I love and adore) and my parents joined in the fun as well. Aly wanted to be a 'hula dancer' and there was no changing her mind she has been practicing her dance for weeks now. Thatch was a skeleton... I made the 'baby' costume mistake one year with Aly (she was an elephant) those costumes are always so warm and cozy, however it is too hot here to pull off warm and cozy, my babies end up irritable and sweaty! I forfieted that idea and he went in his skelton shirt :)
Alyse and Summer were so adorable trick or treating they held hands the entire time and walked up to all the doors together... so cute! They are in the same nursery class. I love that Aly is starting to get so excited about little friends... She seemed so grown up running to the door with her 'Mummer' on Halloween.
Grandma and Grandpa came down for the weekend and joined us in our festivities! They are so great to our kiddos and spoiled them rotten! Alyse got a tea set and Thatch got a 4-wheeler (just his size) as 'halloween gifts' now that is the way to trick or treat!
I was loving watching Thatch and Jaycee... My little man became obsessed with hair and would touch his head and then Jaycee's. They are too cute together! Their birthdays are only a couple months apart and it has been so fun watching them grow up together. After only a couple of streets the kids were DONE and we piled 3 of them in the stroller to get them the rest of the way... notice we are done and it is still quite light out... yep it was short and sweet and liked it that way. We spent the rest of the night cozy-ed up watching movies and handing out candy... it was marvelous!
