{swiss days}

We took the kids to Swiss Days this weekend in Santa Clara. Alyse was so excited for the parade on Saturday morning that she woke up at 4:45am and couldn't fall back to sleep! I was a bit concerned about her making it through the morning but she did great and took a LONG nap when we got home! The kids were so cute sitting on the curb waiting for the parade to start and Aly made sure everyone "held their hearts" as the flag went by! Sadly my camera battery died before the actual parade even began so these are the only pictures that I have. Thatcher loved the marching bands and would groove and shimmy to the music, Alyse loved the kids and the candy! After the parade we walked though the booths and then got to ride the shuttle back to our parking spot (it was Aly's first time on a bus and she was quite thrilled. After some lunch all of us took a much needed nap! It was a fun day as a family!
