Swimming Lessons!

I signed Alyse up for swim lessons today! I am so excited! I really wanted to do something special just she and I before little brother arrives and with as much as she LOVES water I thought a parent-toddler swim class was the perfect thing! We are all paid and signed up for May 5-15th! I can't wait to blog about all the details and post some pictures, maybe even some video! (If I dare show off my huge self in a swimsuit almost 9 months pregnant!)

Also, Grandma Russell (Florence-who Alyse is named after) sent us a beautiful gift from Canada! Russ' Uncle Harold just returned from a trip northward to visit and came back with the most adorable dress from Aly's Great Grandma! I of course had to have Aly try it on right then and there at Grandma Peg's and I wish I had my video camera! Little Aly Flo LOVED her dress! She just wanted to spin and look at her cute self in the mirror when it was time to take it off (so it wouldn't get dirty as we went to run our errands) she cried and cried! I will have her wear it on Sunday and I promise to take a few pics (and post them)! I love little items that connect Aly to her namesake! I know that she loved it so because it was from her Great Grandma whom she loves and adores! We love you Grandma! Even though you are far away and we can't see you as much as we'd like we think of you every day as we hug and kiss our little Alyse Florence! I only hope she grows up to be as amazing as you are!
