It was the PERFECT day for an Easter Egg Hunt! This morning Julia and I took Alyse to her first Easter egg hunt and she had a blast! The sun was shining and there was excitement in the air. Before the 'hunt' began the Ivins City 'Princesses' came around and gave all of the kids in the 4 and under division 2 eggs (so no one would feel left out if they didn't get any!) Alyse was so content with her first 2 eggs she could have gone home right then and there! Moments later the announcer said "go" and we were off, parents with toddlers in tow. It was hysterical! Alyse got 4 eggs and was clapping her hands with joy! Ahh . . . to be a child again and have 4 easter eggs make you entire day! My only regret is that Russ wasn't able to be there -he had to work- and we missed him terribly! Speaking of my cute hubby! It is his 32nd birthday today! We are getting ready to go off to a movie and dinner here in a few to celebrate. We met up for lunch and cake at Grandma Peg's this afternoon when Russ got off work with Julie, Matt, Lisa, Michael, and Gabby. Then Julia and Grandma Peg kept Aly so we could go off and have a REAL date! I think the last movie we saw in theaters was Enchanted over Christmas break (and Alyse was with us)! That is so sad! I can hardly wait for an entire evening of adult conversation! Happy Easter everybody! Here's hoping yours is as fun as ours is turning out to be!

Mindy, you're such a cute mom! Not to mention how cute Aly is. I just thought I'd let ya know!
Looks like so much fun!!! She is so cute!! Happy Easter! I need to call you so we can catch up! What times are good for you?!!?
Mindy,
I love reading your posts. They make me laugh, the way you cleverly write. I can't wait to see what your new baby boy will look like. Sounds like you had a fun Easter. Our Easter got cancelled for 2 weeks. The funny thing is, in the 2 days since Easter, we have tons of grass showing now. Still snow, but good enough for a hunt. It has been so warm.
