Our Spring Break has been spent getting what was the office ready for 2 kids! It has been so fun planning and preparing for this project! Knowing we were having a boy made color choices and most of Alyse's previous decor no longer of use so I was starting from scratch! I spent hours trying to find bedding and colors that I liked and would work with some of what I already had! Alyse went shopping with me and helped me choose new blinds for her window, black out curtains, and paint colors; which was lots of fun! She went WiLd over the color swatches and was thrilled when we came home and tested them on the walls. (She tried to 'paint' everything in sight for days afterward with whatever she could find, her toothbrush, a blanket, hairbrush, etc! She would dip it in a container -empty mind you- and then spread the pretend mixture on the walls!) As of now I have paint up and furniture in place (Aly's big girl bed is currently on the floor, I will put up the bed frame when she is a little older and I lose my fear of her falling!) I still have decor, pictures, shelves, names, etc. to hang on the walls but I will give you a peek at my painting process! Russ was so patient with me through the process and we couldn't have gotten it done without Julia who came and helped ALL day on Monday since I am not 'allowed' (Russ won't let me) to climb on ladders while I am preggo and there was so much that needed to be done up high! Then she came back on Tuesday night, after she got off of work, and helped move furniture and other items that were deemed "too heavy" for me to help with and cleaned my kitchen!!! Now I just have a closet to organize, Alyse's chalkboard to finish, painting some furniture (her toy organizer and maybe the changing table) and figuring out where to hang shelves, etc.! All can easily be done in the next few months! Now if we only knew what we were naming him!

Cute Mindy! That's going to be really fun!! Alyse will be such a good big sister!
My mom said that she saw you the other day! I'm jealous! I wanna come to St. George!!! She says you look so cute!!
How cute. You have inspired me to get going on my baby nursery. I've just got to find outwhat I'm having first! Thanks for the advice on the leg cramps. It's actually helping somewhat. I think you're right, though, they will get worse before getting better. You're the best!
