{just listening}

I hear rustling and bustling and activity . . . of course I am preoccupied with a baby and unsure of what my toddler is up to . . . and then silence (usually not a good sign) so I call out . . .
M- "Aly . . . what are you doing?"
A- "I'm listening Mom."
M- "Listening to what sweat pea?"
A- "The birds and the planes, you know . . "

I come around the corner to see that she has pulled over the toy chest and put it in the door way so that she could lay down and 'listen' how cute is that? Love you lysee girl!

(BTW notice the LOVELY outfit that my cutie has picked out! Nothing screams 'princess like a pink onsie under a yellow and orange sundress! Don't overlook the afro-like hairdo either styled by Miss Alyse herself! I am certain there is a future career in FASHION!)
