can't take these germy friends anywhere... bummer

The young women were putting on a sweethearts ball... I was seriously looking forward to it!  Russ signed us up to go and he was even all excited for it!  Friends, food, dancing, and time with Russ... all dressed up and without children!  Saturday couldn't come soon enough.

Then... what hits our house Thursday night... croup!  Runny noses, barking seal coughs, humidifiers, vicks, cold medicine, and tissues, tissues, tissues!  Thatch and Mags are BOTH sick and how did I spend my Saturday night?  Oh you guessed it wiping noses, snuggling, and calming my sick babies.

Russ is amazing and tried to make it up to me with a heart shaped pizza picnic on the living room floor, which I got to enjoy in my PJ's, although I would have much rather been dancing.  Maybe next year!  Happy Valentines Day!
