I don't quite know what to title this post. School is starting next week and I have been busily engaged in all the preparations of a new school year. Sorting through supplies, stapling things on the walls, copying, collating, and binding, arranging tables and chairs, wiping down surfaces, sanitizing toys, etc. etc. etc.
While I am participating in such preparations the 'big kids' (Aly & Thatch) have been having a fun filled week with the grandparents. Timing couldn't be better because I truly have so much to do that even if they were home they would be sorely neglected as I hauled them from place to place and had them attempt to entertain themselves in my classroom all day long. However, This is the longest that Aly has ever been away and the first time Thatch has spent a night away ever! 10 days, TEN DAYS with Grandma and Grandpa! I am missing my kiddos pretty bad about now! I miss Aly's constant chatter and singing! I miss Bubba's sweet little voice and his snuggles and hugs! The kids come home on Sunday! I CAN NOT WAIT and I promise no school preparations AT ALL nothing but hugs, kisses, and cuddles!
Here is to making it until Sunday! At least Russ and I have had Maggie Jane to keep us preoccupied and I must say she is loving having all our attention! She may not be so thrilled when her siblings come home.
