Sumens Family

I love Thanksgiving weekend. It was so nice to be together with family. Russ usually has to work on Thanksgiving and it is hard to not have him there as part of our celebration. So this year my fam was kind enough to move our dinner to Friday so that Russ could celebrate with us! I loved it! Thank you again for changing your plans to accommodate us!
Of course we hit the sales on Friday and it was strange to be doing our shopping before we had our big meal but why not shake things up a little ehh? Here are some of my highlights:

• Crafting with the girls! So much fun ladies!
• Printing the wrong time on our movie tickets and waiting in line forever to see Australia, (Thanks Dad for the 5 hours of babysitting! Who knew you were volunteering for that long of a stint!)
• Aly begging to go to Grandma GG's and the excited look on her face when it was finally time to go!
• Waking up by choice at 4 am, even though BOTH of my kids were sleeping, just to save a few dollars!
• The never ending line in Kohls that wrapped all the way around the inside of the store, Dad and Mike hit 2 or 3 stores in the time it took Lacie, Mom, and I to stand in that line!
• The random "Hey that is Mrs. Sumens" comments I heard while out shopping with my bed head and in my sweats, the professional look I am going for these days!
  
• Grandma and Mike dropping Oliver, the turkey, into the roasting pan and then Grandma's freak out because she needed 'the string'!
• LOTS of yummy food and my favorite, PUMPKIN ROLL!!!!
• Aly dancing with Mom and loving her Uncle Michael!
• Taking Aly to see the temple lights and the natvity, she is in awe of the 'magic' of Christmas and it is SO FUN!

AND FINALLY!!!! Buying our new couch that I will get next week hopefully! Belive me when I say we NEEDED it! Hooray!
