{flood watchin'}

I let the kids get out and look at the flood waters the other day as we drove through Santa Clara... I drive the road twice a day and rarely notice that the river is even down there, the trickle of water that it is, however just before Christmas it was hard to miss this huge raging body of water. Aly and Thatch loved the rain and were thrilled looking at the men busily pulling debris from the river to keep it from damaging the bridge. Rain the the desert is a treat and if it weren't causing so much trouble would have been happily welcomed!
