Thanksgiving morning. Adults are in the kitchen starting preparations for the day. Kids are playing and watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Aly: "Mom! Mom, it is the guy you don't like."
I look over to see a GIANT Sponge Bob floating down the Parade Route. I don't like Sponge Bob. At all. I won't let my kids watch him.
Me: "Oh Aly I don't Like Sponge Bob."
Aly: "I know, I have something to tell you. But I have to whisper it."
Me: "Okay whisper it in my ear."
Aly: (whispering) "Grandma Peg let's us watch Sponge Bob."
Me: "Really. I don't like that show."
Aly: (still whispering) "It's just that, you don't get there until later."
At least I they still don't know who Barney is. If I had to chose I guess Sponge Bob is better than that annoying dinosaur.

I have to agree with you on SpongeBob.. hate him! Ugh.. but I'd rather let Capri watch Barney than him. At least Barney gets their imaginations going. SpongeBob makes me cringe. Yuck!
