{summer's end}

I can't believe we are back to school already! I have attempted to squeeze every last drop of fun and enjoyment out of my summer however while I am somewhat busy gestating a human life I have been lacking a tad in the energy department. I did however manage to make one last trip northward (without my hubby since he had to work) to visit the grandparents and go to Lacie's baby shower! We also went to the Highland Fling: watched the parade, visited the booths, ate yummy fattening things like funnel cakes and cinnamon almonds, watched the concerts in the park, and enjoyed the fireworks! But no the fun did not end there... I also made the trip to Morgan for the Thatcher Family Picnic which was so worth the trip! I was able to see cousins I haven't seen in YEARS! We ate lots of yummy food and just played catch up on all that has happened in our lives. I then braved the drive home with the kiddos all by myself and made it home somewhere around midnight. I then relapsed for a day or two but am now caught up again on the laundry etc. etc. and just in time too since it is back to work on Monday!
