Even though we were hunting in pouring rain it was a fun Easter Egg Hunt, the best part was when the kids hunt was over and they did the 'Adult Hunt' for those of us over 12, Gabby got 52 eggs! She ran out of room in her little basket so she just sat down and just started pulling them in from as far as she could reach! She was sitting on them like a mother hen! The poor babies enjoyed the hunting action from the dugout, it was nice and dry!
Jawcob is turning 3, Ethan is turning 1, and their cousin Ana is turning 18 all in the next couple weeks so we had a big triple birthday party. Due to the rain we had to move the party action from a local park to the Abbey Inn, thanks honey for letting us use the hotel!
The kids loved it when the weather finally cleared and they were able to play outside for a bit. It was fun watching them play together! We love our cousins!
Easter Sunday we woke up and did baskets, Easter clothes, and then off to church. After church we met up at Grandma's for pictures and lunch (I need to get copies of the pics from my SIL Julia since she took them and I am sure they are fabulous). Then it was play time for the cousins, got to get it all in before we go our seperate ways!
Last but not least a special shout out to my niece Gabby! She loved, cuddled, watched, entertained, and played with my children the ENTIRE weekend! Alyse LOVES her and was so excited to spend time with her Gabby! Thanks Gabs. You are an amazing, beautiful, and smart young woman! Love you to death!
