Fun with Daddy at the Park!

So since Russ is usually working at night he hadn't had the chance to visit Alyse's favorite hot spot, the new park on Main Street! So last Saturday (since daddy had the day off) we decided to venture into town. The morning was actually spent at home, well for Aly and I, Russ went to go and help out with a ward service project which included painting and yard work for one of the single sisters in the ward. Lyse and I played games, ate breakfast, cleaned, and cuddled. Daddy got home just in time for Aly's nap and so he was able to get cleaned up and take a little nap himself. At 2ish Aly woke up and we headed to 25 and Main for a late lunch (one of my new favorite eating out spots and not JUST because the have PB&J on their kids menu) and then walked down to the park to play! Alyse LOVED having Daddy and Mommy at the park and it was a lot of fun for the 2 of us as well to be together with our little girl. I love my cute hubby and I miss him a lot! Someday we will have schedules that are more compatible, but I do always have my summers with him and I cherish each and every summer morning that we are together! It was so much fun watching our little girl play in the water and interact with the other little kids (she is FASCINATED by other children! I took her to McDonald's the other day even though she is too little to go in the play place, just so she could watch the kids play!)
Sidenote: Looking at the pictures and the video from our little outing I am now realizing that I am THAT pregnant, I see people who are as far along as I am and think to myself, she looks so uncomfortable I am glad I am not that pregnant yet, but lo and behold I am there and then some! My chubby face, swollen ankles, and HUGE belly are all indicators that I am into the 3rd trimester and the countdown is on! I still had weight to lose from Al so I am going on a SERIOUS diet after this little man is born and I think my body deserves a break for a couple years at least! I forget what it is like to NOT be pregnant! Can someone remind me?
